About Seating Renovators
Seating Renovators is a division of Wyandot Seating that
has been manufacturing all types of seating for over 30
years. Seating Renovators utilizes the years of
Wyandot's manufacturing experience and facilities to
offer proven solutions to the Theater and Auditorium
Seating market. Seating Renovators' employees are
focused on bringing to the customer the best value
available. You can be assured that 100% American parts
and labor goes into everything we do.
It's our goal to
solve your fixed seating problems. Chair
renovation is not always the most cost effective
solution. We also offer Reconditioned Used Seating as an
alternative. Reconditioned Used Seating, in most cases,
is the less expensive solution to your seating needs.

Replacement with Reconditioned Used Seating
Renovation of your existing seating is the only
option if it is important that the existing
seating meets the historical architecture of the
Theater or Auditorium.
Typical
cost savings. Reconditioned Used Seating is
usually 1/2 to 2/3 the cost of Renovation.
Renovation of your existing seating means no
changes in seating layout and no need for the
added expense of architectural drawings.
Minimal
loss of use of your facility. Renovation takes a
considerable amount of time. During the time of
Restoration your facility is unusable.
Renovation of existing seating doesn't involve
compliance with new codes which may result in
less seating capacity.
Renovation of existing seating saves the
added cost of removal and disposal of the
existing seating.
Whether you choose renovation of your existing
seating or replacement with reconditioned used seating,
you can be assured that either way there will be
considerable savings over buying new seating

of your chairs includes any or all:
Replace all the
upholstery - including retying the springs and custom
fabricating in house new fire retardant polyurethane
foam cushions.
Replace the chair
fabric - new seat and back covers in your choice of
fabric. In many cases we can re-upholster your chairs on
site, saving the cost of shipping the parts to and from
our factory and eliminating the chance of damage in
transit.
Refinish the wood
arm tops and outer backs if the existing chair has wood by
stripping the old finish, re-staining and coating with
polyurethane.
Refinish the
existing chair metal components. Either hand sanding and
repainting in your choice of color, or totally removing
the old paint and powder coating.
Seating
Renovators will provide you with one of your chairs
fully renovated to your specifications for your
approval.
Replacement with
Reconditioned Used Seating
We're not
talking about the cruddy chairs that came out of
some movie theater. When we refer to
Reconditioned Used Seating we're referring to
used chairs that have been thoroughly cleaned
and repaired as needed to bring them to a state
of as close to new as possible.
Now you can use your Theater or Auditorium for classes
or conferences
We have designed and
manufacture a retractable field installable Table
Arms/Tables that can be custom manufactured to fit virtually
any Theater type chair. Constructed of solid steel coated
with tough plastic and a solid plastic top that can
withstand years of use
Until now, if you wanted
to add Tablet Arms to your chairs, your only choice was
to replace all your chairs with new.

developed a removable Table for chairs with Cup
Holders on the arm rests

removable table that swivels out to allow quick
egress.
This isn't
